FLT Driver / Van Driving Duties (50/50 Role) – Immediate Start – Kirkby-in-Ashfield
Are you an experienced FLT Driver looking for a long-term opportunity with a reputable manufacturer? Our client based in Kirkby-in-Ashfield, a leading manufacturer of kitchen units and bedroom furniture, is looking to recruit a reliable and hands-on individual for a 50/50 FLT and Van Driving role.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 7:15am – 4:00pm
- Friday: 7:15am – 1:00pm
Enjoy early finishes on Fridays and a great work-life balance.
What’s Involved:
- Operating a Counterbalance FLT (valid, accredited licence required)
- Moving raw materials and finished goods around site
- Van driving duties, including deliveries and collections
- Manual handling, including lifting, bending, and carrying
- Supporting general warehouse duties as required
Please note: this is a hands-on and physically active role, not solely FLT-based.
What We’re Looking For:
- A current, accredited Counterbalance FLT licence
- Previous FLT experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Comfortable with a split role (FLT and driving duties)
- Willingness to get involved with physical tasks
- Reliable with a positive, team-focused attitude
