A leading construction business seeks a Commercial Administrator to provide essential administrative and commercial support within their Leicester office. This role offers flexible working hours and days, ensuring a balance between professional responsibilities and personal commitments.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage commercial documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, and invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Support the commercial team by maintaining records, tracking project budgets, and preparing regular reports.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments and external suppliers to facilitate smooth commercial operations.
- Assist with the preparation and submission of tenders and quotations as required.
- Maintain electronic and physical filing systems in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Utilise Microsoft Office packages to produce documents, spreadsheets, and presentations relevant to commercial activities.
- Manage diary appointments and coordinate meetings for the commercial team when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with company health and safety policies during all administrative tasks.
Required Qualifications and Education
- Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent qualifications, including English and Mathematics.
- Demonstrable proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Experience
- Previous experience in an administrative or commercial support role, preferably within construction or a related industry.
- Experience managing documentation and working with financial or contractual information.
