Injection Moulding Operator – Chesterfield
£17.60 per hour | 4 On 4 Off | Days & Nights
Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced
Injection Moulding Operator to join a busy manufacturing business based in the Chesterfield area.
This is a long-term opportunity for someone with at least 3 years' injection moulding experience, operating automated machinery within a fast-paced production environment.
The Role:
- Operating injection moulding machines and automated production lines
- Monitoring machinery and maintaining production output
- Carrying out regular quality checks and inspections
- Identifying faults and assisting with basic breakdown repairs
- Supporting machine maintenance, cleaning and lubrication
- Assisting with occasional tool changes and adjustments
- Completing production paperwork and following health & safety procedures
- 4 on 4 off continental shift pattern
- 4 days off
What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 3 years' injection moulding machine operating experience (essential)
- Experience with automated production machinery
- Good understanding of quality control
- Basic mechanical fault finding skills
- Pneumatic or electrical knowledge advantageous
- Reliable, flexible and able to work independently
- Full UK driving licence and own transport essential
