FLT Driver - Warehouse & Stock Operative
Location: Markham Vale, Chesterfield
Pay: £13.27 per hour + overtime
Hours: Rotating day shifts, Monday to Friday
Contract: Temp to perm
Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are recruiting an experienced
FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative for an established engineering and manufacturing business in Markham Vale, Chesterfield.
This is a varied warehouse role involving
Counterbalance and/or Reach FLT driving, stock control, Goods In, dispatch, picking, wrapping and packing. You will handle heavy steel, alloy and engineering materials, moving stock safely between warehouse and production areas.
Working Hours
Week 1: Monday–Thursday, 6:00am–2:30pm | Friday, 6:00am–10:00am
Week 2: Monday–Thursday, 8:00am–4:30pm | Friday, 10:00am–2:00pm
Key Responsibilities
Operating Counterbalance and/or Reach FLT trucks.
Moving and storing heavy steel, alloy and engineering materials.
Receiving, checking and booking in deliveries.
Stock control, stock rotation and warehouse organisation.
Picking, wrapping, packing and preparing customer orders.
Dispatching orders and checking delivery paperwork.
Supplying materials to production when required.
Maintaining safe working practices and good housekeeping.
Requirements
Previous Counterbalance and/or Reach FLT experience.
Warehouse, stores, stock control, Goods In or dispatch experience.
Comfortable with physical work and handling heavy materials.
Reliable, safety-conscious and willing to undertake varied warehouse duties.
What's on Offer?
£13.27 per hour plus overtime.
Weekly pay.
Monday to Friday working with an early finish every Friday.
