Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Traffic Marshal to join a busy construction site in Blackburn starting Monday. The role involves managing site traffic, directing vehicles, and ensuring the safe movement of people and machinery around site.
Key Duties
- Directing site traffic and delivery vehicles safely and efficiently
- Managing access and egress points on site
- Assisting with pedestrian and vehicle segregation
- Communicating clearly with drivers, plant operators, and site staff
- Monitoring site activity to ensure safety standards are met
- Performing general labouring and site support duties when required
- Ensuring compliance with site health & safety regulations
Requirements
- Valid Traffic Marshal (Banksman) ticket
- Valid CSCS card (preferred)
- Previous experience as a Traffic Marshal on construction sites
- Good communication skills and reliability
- Own PPE (hi-vis, hard hat, safety boots, gloves)
