A leading construction business seeks a Project Manager to oversee a new build steel frame warehouse project currently at the early earthworks and groundworks stage.
This role requires hands on experience managing groundworks and earthworks operations to ensure timely and safe project delivery.
- Job Duties
- Plan, coordinate and manage all aspects of the earthworks and groundworks phase of the steel frame warehouse project.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and site specific safety requirements.
- Lead and supervise site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to maintain project schedules and budgets.
- Monitor progress through regular site inspections and update project documentation accordingly.
- Identify and resolve any issues or risks that may impact the project timeline or quality.
- Liaise with clients, consultants and other stakeholders to provide progress reports and address queries.
- Ensure all site operations comply with environmental and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records of site activities, materials, and labour utilisation.
- Coordinate delivery and storage of materials to optimise workflow and minimise delays.
- Required Qualifications
- Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) certification.
- Valid Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card.
- Current First Aid qualification.
- Full, clean driving licence.
Experience
- Proven experience managing earthworks and groundworks activities on construction sites.
- Previous experience working on steel frame warehouse or industrial building projects is advantageous.
- Track record of delivering projects on time and within budget in a similar role.
