Handyperson Required – Selby
We are looking for a Handyperson based in Selby to work on void social housing properties, supporting trades on site. Due to the location and hours of this job, having your own transport is required. This is a full time role with the following hours: Mon-Fri: 07:30am - 16.30pm
Details:
- Location: Selby
- Rate: £16.50 per hour
- Work: Void social homes
- Contract Length: 40–50 weeks available
Duties Will Include:
- Work to drawings
- Paint, snag and make good as required
- Use power tools as required
- Fix and repair 2nd fix carpentry work – skirting, architrave and so on
- Fix and repair ceramic tiling as required
Required:
- Previous experience working on domestic or social housing projects
- Experience using power tools
- Knowledge of 2nd fix carpentry work, tiling etc
- Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently
- Valid in-date passport to hand - We cannot accept birth certificates or other forms of ID
- CSCS card
