Hours: Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Friday: 8:00am - 4:30pm

Pay Rate: £13.73 per hour
Main Purpose of the Role
You will support the Production and Operations team by planning work, tracking materials, managing schedules, and helping control costs. The aim is to keep production running smoothly and ensure orders are delivered on time and to the correct quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Planning & Coordination
- Create and manage weekly production plans
- Work with team leaders to ensure enough staff are available
- Help make sure all orders are completed on time
- Stock & Logistics
- Manage subcontract processes (e.g. galvanising)
- Raise purchase orders and track deliveries
- Book materials in and monitor stock movement
- Reporting & Administration
- Record production time sheets in Excel
- Produce reports for management
- Track performance (efficiency, delays, quality)
- Order Management
- Process purchase orders and confirmations
- Monitor orders to ensure materials arrive on time
- General Support
- Upload and manage documents (delivery notes, PODs, etc.)
- Provide phone cover when needed
- Support audits and general administration tasks
Skills & Experience Required
Essential
- 2+ years' experience in production, logistics, or admin (manufacturing preferred)
- Good English and Maths skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel & Outlook)
Desirable
- Experience using Sage
- Previous manufacturing experience
