Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Painter to join a team working on a site in Wrexham. This role requires a professional and detail-focused individual, capable of working in a clean and safety-sensitive environment. Work involves both internal and external painting as part of a refurbishment project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing surfaces for painting including sanding, filling, and priming

  • Applying emulsion, gloss, undercoat, and specialist coatingsas required

  • Carrying out high-standard finishing workon walls, ceilings, woodwork, and trims

  • Working cleanly and efficiently within a live or semi-live hospital environment

  • Protecting surrounding areas and maintaining a tidy workspace

  • Complying with site health and safety procedures, especially in clinical areas

  • Collaborating with other trades and site supervisors to meet project deadlines

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Painter and Decorator on commercial sites

  • Valid CSCS card

  • Full PPE and own tools/brushes/rollers

  • High attention to detail and ability to produce quality finish work

  • Reliable, punctual, and respectful of working in sensitive environments
