The Role
As Contracts Manager, you will take responsibility for overseeing multiple fit-out and refurbishment projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
You will provide leadership and support to project and site teams while acting as a key point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple interior fit-out and refurbishment projects simultaneously.
- Lead and support Project Managers and Site Managers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with programme, budget, quality, and safety requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Monitor project performance, costs, risks, and resource allocation.
- Review and manage contractual and commercial obligations.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company policies.
- Conduct regular site visits and project reviews.
- Support procurement, planning, and project delivery strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement across operational activities.
About You
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the fit-out, interiors, or construction sector.
- Experience managing multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong commercial and contractual awareness.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to build strong client and stakeholder relationships.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable
- HNC, HND, Degree, or equivalent construction-related qualification.
- SMSTS certification.
- Knowledge of JCT contracts.
- Experience within commercial office fit-out, workplace, education, healthcare, retail, or refurbishment sectors.
- First Aid qualification.
