The Role
- Receiving and checking deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes.
- Safely unloading, storing and organising construction materials.
- Issuing materials, tools and equipment to site operatives.
- Maintaining accurate stock records and monitoring inventory levels.
- Reporting shortages, damaged goods and discrepancies to site management.
- Keeping the stores and compound clean, organised and secure.
- Liaising with suppliers, site management and subcontractors regarding deliveries.
- Ensuring all materials are stored in line with health and safety requirements.
- Assisting with general site logistics where required.
About You
- Previous experience as a Material Controller, Storeperson or Construction Logistics Operative.
- Valid CSCS Card.
- Good knowledge of construction materials.
- Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
