Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver to work for a well-established manufacturing business based in Rothley, LE7, Leicestershire. This is expected to be a temp to perm position.
They are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to work in their Finished Goods team. You will be responsible for working in a team to manage the goods storage in the warehouse and to prepare the loading area to fulfil production demands. You will have a number of other tasks and responsibilities to adhere to:
- Moving pallets around the facility
- Preparing loading areas in line with loading schedule documentation
- Identify and report any damages or quantity issues
- Loading trucks if needed
- Operating a forklift and other MHE equipment once trained after being signed off to do so
- Stock taking when required
- Keep on top of housekeeping
There is 1 shift available - Afternoons 1400-2200. Salary £13ph.
The Person:
- Proven experience in a warehouse or manufacturing role
- Previous experience driving a counterbalance forklift and National licence
- Happy to work on either a morning shift or afternoon shift
- Access to own transport due to lack of public transport at certain shift times
