A Leading Construction Business is seeking a diligent Construction Administrator to join their commercial team based at the Leicester office.
This role involves providing essential administrative support to Quantity Surveyors, assisting with procurement activities, managing invoices, and ordering materials to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Job Duties
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Quantity Surveyors and commercial team.
- Manage and process purchase orders and invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist with procurement activities, including liaising with suppliers and ensuring timely delivery of materials.
- Maintain and update records, spreadsheets, and databases related to project costs and procurement.
- Support the team with document control, including filing and archiving of contracts and correspondence.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve queries promptly.
- Prepare and distribute routine reports and correspondence as required.
- Assist with basic construction-related administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within construction or a related industry.
- Basic understanding of construction terminology and procurement processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
