Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are currently recruiting a number of General Operatives to work in a clean, modern and fast-paced manufacturing environment in the Tyseley area of Birmingham. Want a job where the company invests in your training? Looking for a role that is temporary ongoing but could become permanent for the right candidate? If the answer is yes to all these questions then Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment could have the job you have been looking for.

We need the ideal candidate to have a keen eye for detail, be computer literate and be comfortable absorbing training to help run the picking and packing operation. Have the ability to read and match tickets with the relevant trays. The great news is that via the guidance of the fantastic on-site trainers the role can be learnt meaning if you are a reliable and driven individual looking for a stable role with avenues to progress it's the perfect opportunity.

About the Client

Following the company growth, the global retail network now has over 7,200 stores, 39,000 employees, in 40+ countries. Offering high-quality, affordable medical products and services. The client has well-known local retail brands across Europe, North & Latin America and Asia. Meaning you could be working for a well-known household name with fantastic features and benefits.

The Job:

  • Monday to Wednesday 6am - 6pm (1 Sunday per month 8am - 6pm)
  • Picking/Packing
  • Quality checking of products
  • General production line duties
  • Completing relevant documentation
  • Creating reports & shipping lists
  • Full training provided with routes for progression
  • Overtime available

About You:

  • Need to be able to work one of the above shifts.
  • Reliability is a must
  • Confident using computers/Hand Scanners
  • Someone who is willing to learn with a can-do attitude.
