Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitmentare looking forConcrete Production Operativesto join a busy concrete plant in Pinxton and Alfreton. These roles offer great progression opportunities to learn new skills, including semi-dry casting.

Your Role:

• Help set up moulds for concrete pouring
• Apply and remove fixtures using hand tools
• Read basic engineer\’s drawings
• Move heavy products around the plant
• Check products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Always follow health and safety guidelines

What We\’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in concrete production or mould setting is a plus but not required
• Comfortable using hand tools and power tools
• Able to lift heavy products and work in a dusty environment
• Good English skills (reading, writing, and speaking)
• Attention to detail and ability to meet production targets

Benefits:

• Pay: £11.44 per hour
• Hours: 6:00am-2:00pm or 5:00am-1:00pm, Monday to Friday
• Immediate start with the chance to go permanent

Location:Pinxton & Alfreton
Salary: £12.21 per hour
Hours:6:00am-2:00pm or 5:00am-1:00pm, Monday – Friday
