We are seeking experienced Bricklayers to join a busy commercial site. The role involves a variety of brick and block work, ensuring high-quality finishes in line with site specifications. This work is only for a few days but more opportunity to work on other sites.
Key Responsibilities – Bricklayers
- Laying bricks, blocks, and other masonry to plans and specifications
- Measuring, cutting, and shaping bricks as required
- Mixing and applying mortar
- Repairing or replacing damaged brickwork
- Working to tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
- Following instructions from site supervisors and managers
- Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment
- Adhering to all site health & safety regulations
Key Responsibilities – Joiner
- Installing hardwood doors, frames, and ironmongery
- Fitting skirting boards, architraves, and mouldings
- Hanging doors and carrying out final adjustments
- Installing hardwood panelling and bespoke joinery items
- Completing finishing works to a high standard
- Reading and working from drawings where required
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently
Requirements
- Own tools and PPE
- Valid CSCS card
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently
- Reliability and ability to work as part of a team
