Counterbalance B1 Dispatch Operative – Bolsover, Chesterfield

£13.45 per hour | Monday–Friday | Days | Temp to Perm

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are recruiting for a Counterbalance B1 Dispatch Operative to join a busy warehouse and distribution operation based in Bolsover, Chesterfield.

This is primarily a dispatch-based role, with approximately 80% of your time spent within dispatch and 20% operating a Counterbalance FLT. We're looking for someone who is confident working in a busy warehouse environment and has a valid, in-date B1 Counterbalance licence.

Candidates without a valid, in-date B1 Counterbalance licence will not be considered.

The Role:

• Preparing customer orders for dispatch
• Checking, labelling and organising goods ready for despatch
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely
• Moving and positioning stock using a Counterbalance FLT
• Completing dispatch paperwork and warehouse documentation
• Carrying out stock checks and ensuring orders are accurate
• Working closely with the warehouse and logistics teams
• General warehouse and dispatch duties as required

Hours & Pay:

• £13.45 per hour
• Monday to Friday
• Either 9:00am – 6:00pm or 10:00am – 7:00pm
• Weekly pay

What We're Looking For:

• Valid, in-date B1 Counterbalance FLT licence – essential
• Previous Counterbalance FLT experience
• Previous warehouse and/or dispatch experience
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Reliable and hardworking attitude
• Comfortable working as part of a busy warehouse team
