Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy manufacturing environment based near Markham Vale, Chesterfield. This is a hands-on role focused on inspecting products and packaging to ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the production process. We’re looking for reliable candidates with a keen eye for detail who can work accurately and consistently.
The Role:
- Carrying out visual quality checks on products and packaging
- Identifying defects or inconsistencies
- Recording quality issues and completing basic paperwork
- Following site quality and health & safety procedures
- Supporting the wider production team as required
Hours & Pay:
- £12.71 per hour
- Monday to Friday
- 8:30am – 5:00pm
- Weekly pay
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous warehouse, production or manufacturing experience
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to carry out repetitive tasks accurately
- Good manual dexterity
- Comfortable standing for long periods
- Reliable and punctual attitude
Important Information:
- This is predominantly a standing role
- The working environment can be loud; hearing protection is provided
- Safety boots are required
- Trousers must be worn on site – shorts are not permitted
