Warehouse Operative

You\’ll be part of a friendly, supportive team working with the latest warehouse technology. We\’re looking for people who are reliable, switched-on, and confident using computers as part of their day-to-day work.

Key duties include:

– Picking customer orders accurately using the Autostore system and handheld scanners
– Inputting product codes and quantities on PC-based systems
– Supporting goods-in and goods-out operations as required
– Following warehouse safety procedures and keeping work areas tidy
– Working as part of a team to meet targets and maintain high standards

Working hours:

– Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
– No weekend working

Pay and benefits:

– £12.21 per hour
– Overtime available at enhanced rates (Time and a Half and Double Time)
– Weekly pay through Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment
– Long-term, full-time role with potential for permanent employment

What we\’re looking for:

– Previous warehouse experience is essential
– MHE training or licences (Reach, VNA, Counterbalance) are desirable but not essential – training can be provided
– Confident using computers and scanners for order picking
– Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail
– Reliable, enthusiastic, and able to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
– Own transport preferred due to the location
