Machine Operatives Immediate Starts Kirkby-in-Ashfield 12.71ph Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are currently recruiting for Machine Operatives to join a busy manufacturing company based in Kirkby-in-Ashfield. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business offering long-term, ongoing work with full training provided.

The Role:

  • Loading and unloading products onto machinery
  • Monitoring products through the production process
  • Carrying out quality checks on finished items
  • Supporting general production and warehouse duties
  • Working as part of a busy manufacturing team

Please note: this is a hands-on role involving standing for long periods and manual handling.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous manufacturing or machine operative experience is beneficial but not essential
  • Reliable and willing to learn
  • Good attention to detail and quality standards
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Someone practical, sensible, and able to follow instructions

Full training will be provided for the right candidates.

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday: 7:15am - 4:00pm
Friday: 7:15am - 1:00pm
Early finish every Friday.

Pay Rate: 12.71 per hour
