Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are looking for experienced Warehouse Admin person to work for a Logistics company based in Coalville. This is a long term assignment with the potential for permanent position based on your performance.

The job:

  • Afternoon Shift - 2pm - 10pm Monday to Friday

It is quite a hands on and varied job - it will be office based but will need to enter the warehouse and perform various duties and responsibilities. You will be providing administration support as part of the team to both the Warehouse and Customer Service Operational teams.

For the warehouse, this can include:

  • Data entry
  • Stock control
  • Printing picking sheets
  • Creating reports
  • Looking at any discrepancies
  • Dealing with delivery drivers

For the Customer Service Dept, this can include:

  • Dealing with both inbound and outbound client communication - this can be by telephone or by email
  • Responding to any questions and sending to the relevant person to be answered in a timely manner
  • Liaising with other departments

So the work will be varied as because it's working as part of the team - it's good if people are flexible in their knowledge of all departments.

Hourly Rate: £13.21ph

About you:

  • Previous admin experience is required - ideally working in a warehouse environment so you will know what to expect
  • Able to provide good customer service in dealing with incoming questions or assisting with any issues in a timely manner
  • Good telephone manner and communication skills
  • Computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Able to work the shifts required and able to work Monday to Friday
  • Attitude is important as there is always something to do so looking for someone who will look for things to do when quiet
