We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented VNA (Very Narrow Aisle) Drivers to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating VNA forklifts to handle inventory and support the day-to-day warehouse functions. Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate the VNA forklift to transport, retrieve, and organize inventory within the warehouse.
- Conduct stock checks to ensure accurate inventory records and report discrepancies to the appropriate team.
- Assist with goods in operations by unloading incoming deliveries and verifying items against purchase orders.
- Support goods dispatch, ensuring products are accurately picked, packed, and labelLed for timely shipment.
- Perform accurate order picking to fulfil customer and internal requests according to established procedures.
- Uphold health and safety standards, adhering to all company policies and operational guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to maintain the smooth flow of goods through the warehouse.
- Assist with general warehouse duties, including cleaning, organizing, or any other tasks assigned by leadership.
Qualifications
- Valid VNA Forklift License is required.
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, including goods in, dispatch, and order picking.
- Familiarity with stock checks and inventory management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a diverse and inclusive team.
- Flexibility to adapt to different tasks and a positive, can-do attitude.
Day-to-Day
- Start your shift by completing a pre-use inspection of the VNA forklift to ensure it is safe and operational.
- Check your task assignments for the day, which may include stock checks, unloading deliveries, or preparing orders for dispatch.
- Navigate the warehouse using the VNA forklift to retrieve and store inventory while staying mindful of narrow aisle safety practices.
- Collaborate with team members to verify goods received, process returns and address any discrepancies in inventory records.
- Participate in team meetings, where supervisors provide updates and assign priorities for the day.
- Assist with cleaning and organizing the warehouse at the end of the shift to maintain a tidy and safe workspace.

The shifts are 6am-6pm days or 6pm-6am nights on a 4on/4off basis.
The rates of pay are: £13.45/h on days & £14.45/h on nights with enhanced overtime rates.
