Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment have an amazing permanent vacancy with a client in the NG4 area of Nottingham for a skilled Fabricator. As a Fabricator within this business, no 2 days should be the same with the vast amount of clients and orders being processed, so expect your days to be varied and challenging to ensure orders are sent by customer deadlines!
About the Client:
Our client is a family run company that has been operational for over half a century offering design, production and testing services to its clients which can be based not only in the UK but also globally.
Benefits & Pay Rates:
- £16.00 - £16.50 per hour dependant on experience
- Stable day shift (Monday to Friday)
- Overtime paid at a premium rate

This role will require candidates to:
- Experience working with ferrous and non-ferrous metals
- Use tools like shears, presses, and drills
- Have experience shaping, cutting, and joining materials to create products
- Fabricate various types of steel accurately and perform quality checks along the production process
What we need from you:
- Experience in a similar role is essential
- Have MIG/TIG welding experience & knowledge
- Excellent time keeping and attendance record
- Able to work from engineering drawings
