We are looking for a skilled Press Brake Operator to set up and operate power brake press machines to bend, form, stretch, and straighten metal materials. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with press brake machinery and a strong understanding of metal fabrication processes.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate press brake & laser (Trumpf) machinery to bend and form metal materials according to blueprints and work orders
  • Adjust machine settings to ensure precision and accuracy of bends and shapes
  • Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards and make necessary adjustments
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the proper set up and operation of the machinery
  • Assisting with other fabrication duties
  • Using saws & other hand tools
  • Loading / unloading items within the manufacturing areas
  • Other manufacturing duties within the candidate's capability (cutting, trimming, weighing, moving products, etc.)
  • Completing associated paperwork
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, following all company safety protocols and procedures

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Press Brake / Laser Operator or similar role (ESSENTIAL)
  • Proficiency in operating press brake machinery and laser equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and precision
  • Knowledge of metal fabrication processes and materials
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Day-to-day

  • Setting up and operating press brake / laser machinery
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints and work orders
  • Checking finished parts for quality and accuracy
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure production goals are met
