Thorn Baker’s Industrial division is looking for a motivated and ambitious Account Manager to join our successful team, supporting clients across Leicester and Nottingham. Specialising in warehouse, manufacturing and industrial recruitment, you’ll take ownership of existing client relationships, ensuring their workforce requirements are met while identifying opportunities to grow each account. You’ll work closely with our recruitment team to deliver a responsive, reliable service in a fast-moving environment where no two days are the same. What You’ll Be Doing Managing and developing existing client accounts, becoming a trusted point of contact for their recruitment needs. Understanding clients’ operations, workforce requirements and recruitment challenges. Coordinating with the team to source and place high-quality temporary and permanent staff. Monitoring staffing requirements, placement performance and service delivery, responding quickly to changing needs. Building strong relationships with candidates to support attendance, retention and successful placements. Identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts and support clients across additional departments or sites. Attending client meetings and site visits to review performance and strengthen relationships. Maintaining accurate client and candidate records and providing regular updates. Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise a busy, varied workload. Confidence in resolving issues and responding to changing client requirements. Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. A positive team player with a proactive, can-do attitude. Previous experience in recruitment, account management, sales or another customer-facing role would be an advantage. Flexibility to work from our Leicester and Nottingham offices and attend client sites as required.
