A busy, well-established joinery workshop in South Normanton is seeking an experienced Bench Hand Joiner to support the production of high-quality bespoke interiors on a full-time, temporary to permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities for Bench Hand Joiner:
- Manufacture and assemble bespoke joinery items, including internal walls, door frames and window frames, from technical drawings and specifications.
- Work confidently with a wide range of materials including MDF, laminates, veneered boards and hardwoods.
- Use appropriate hand tools and battery-powered drills safely and effectively during assembly and finishing processes.
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of accuracy, finish, and craftsmanship.
- Maintain a safe and organised workstation, following workshop health and safety procedures at all times.
- Wear appropriate PPE, including safety boots, glasses, and gloves, as required.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to support efficient project delivery.
Requirements of Bench Hand Joiner:
- Proven experience as a bench hand joiner in a workshop or production environment is essential.
