The Role
As an EDM Machinist, you will play a key role in producing intricate tooling features and complex profiles to exacting standards. You'll be involved in new tool builds, modifications, and repairs. This is technically challenging work, not high-volume production.
Stating salary £44,033.60 - £50,694.80
Night shift working 4x 11 hour shifts

Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate wire and sinker EDM machines to produce precision components
- Interpret engineering drawings and 3D models to achieve tight tolerances and high-quality finishes
- Plan burn strategies, electrode selection, and process control
- Inspect and measure completed work to ensure consistent quality standards
- Support tooling repairs and modifications as required
- Maintain machine condition, consumables, and general housekeeping standards
What We're Looking For
- Proven EDM machining experience within a tool room or precision engineering environment
- Confident setting up and running jobs independently
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Experience machining materials including titanium, stainless steel, nickel alloys, and carbon steels
- Hands-on experience with Roboform or Robofil EDM machines (essential)
