Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced
HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver to join their established team.
- Working
- 45 hours per week
, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of large materials to customers across the UK, while providing a professional and customer-focused service.
The role will involve
2–3 nights away from home each week
, with a fully equipped sleeper cab provided.
- The salary for this position is
- £36,000 per annum
, increasing following successful completion of a 5-month probationary period. Drivers will also receive a
£25 tax-free payment for each night out
, along with a subsistence allowance.
This opportunity would suit an experienced driver, particularly those with previous experience in builders' merchants, construction materials or a similar environment
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 licence
- HIAB trained/certified
- Minimum 2 years' relevant experience
- Up-to-date CPC
- No more than 3 points on your licence
- Strong employment history
- Good communication skills
