Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver to work for a well-established manufacturing business based in Rothley, LE7, Leicestershire. This is expected to be a temp to perm position.
The Job:
- They are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to work in their Finished Goods team.
- You will be responsible for working in a team to manage the goods storage in the warehouse and to prepare the loading area to fulfil production demands.
- You will have a number of other tasks and responsibilities to adhere to which can include:
- Moving pallets around the facility.
- Preparing loading areas in line with loading schedule documentation.
- Identifying and reporting any damages or quantity issues.
- Loading trucks if needed.
- Operating a forklift and other MHE equipment once trained after being signed off to do so.
- Stock taking when required.
- Keeping on top of housekeeping.
Shift: Afternoons, Monday to Friday
Salary: £13ph
The Person:
- Proven experience in a warehouse or manufacturing role.
- Previous experience driving either a Reach or Counterbalance forklift and National licence.
- Experience working with clamp would be an advantage.
- Happy to work on either a morning shift or afternoon shift.
- Access to own transport due to lack of public transport at certain shift times.
