Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Van Driver / Warehouse Operative to join a busy manufacturing company based in Kirkby-in-Ashfield. This is a physically demanding, hands-on role offering a split between warehouse duties and van driving responsibilities. We are looking for candidates who are comfortable with heavy manual work and have previous experience within a warehouse, manufacturing, or assembly environment.

The Role:

  • Assisting with the assembly and preparation of kitchen unit components
  • Manual handling and heavy lifting throughout the shift
  • Loading and unloading products and materials
  • Van driving duties, including local deliveries and collections
  • Supporting general warehouse and production duties as required

Please note: this role involves lifting, carrying, bending, and being on your feet for the majority of the day.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous warehouse, manufacturing, assembly, or labouring experience is essential
  • Experience within a physically demanding role preferred
  • Full UK driving licence required
  • Maximum of 3 points on licence
  • Comfortable carrying out heavy manual work daily
  • Reliable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday: 7:30am – 4:00pm
40 hours per week

Pay Rate:

£12.71 per hour
