We're seeking reliable and motivated Stock Operatives to join a well-established, reputable specialist metal stockholding company in the UK. If you're looking for a stable, long-term career, this is the opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently manage goods in and goods out
- Accurately locate and move stock within the warehouse
- Stamp billets with precision
- Operate FLT (Reach and/or Counterbalance B1) trucks
- Split role: 60% manual packing and 40% FLT duties
What We're Looking For:
- Previous experience in order picking or using a picking system
- Proven work history and commitment to long-term employment (job-hoppers need not apply)
- Forklift truck experience (Reach or Counterbalance)
- A proactive attitude and desire to build a stable career
Hours & Pay:
- Rotational shifts: Early days and mid shifts (6am-2:30pm / 9:30am-6pm)
- Starting at £12.64 per hour, with opportunities for overtime at enhanced rates
- Overtime Pay: X1.5 during weekdays, X2 on Saturdays, and double time on Sundays & Bank Holidays
