Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment is currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking Part-Time Cleaner / Housekeeper to support a busy storage and distribution business in the Matlock and Darley Dale area. This varied role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness across a distribution centre, as well as carrying out housekeeping duties at a nearby secondary site. It would suit someone with a keen eye for detail who takes pride in their work and enjoys working independently.
The Role
- Cleaning offices, meeting rooms and communal areas
- Maintaining staff facilities, including toilets and washrooms
- Hoovering, sweeping, mopping and dusting
- Emptying bins and replacing bin liners
- Restocking consumables in staff areas
Housekeeping Duties (Nearby Location):
- Cleaning offices, kitchens and training rooms
- Preparing and servicing guest accommodation
- Turning over guest rooms, including living areas and kitchenettes
- Washing, drying and processing bed linen and towels using on-site laundry facilities
- Ensuring all areas are presented to a high standard
Hours & Pay
- 2 non-consecutive days per week
- 7 hours per day (14 hours per week)
- £12.75 per hour

- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience is desirable
- Reliable, trustworthy and self-motivated
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to work across two nearby locations
- Local to the Matlock / Darley Dale area or able to travel easily
