The Role

  • As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for completing local and regional deliveries while providing excellent customer service and ensuring goods arrive safely and on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Driving a company van to complete local and regional deliveries
  • Loading and unloading goods where required
  • Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks
  • Ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and on time
  • Completing delivery paperwork accurately
  • Following all road traffic regulations and client procedures
  • Representing both Thorn Baker and our clients professionally

What We’re Looking For

  • Full UK driving licence
  • No DD, DR or IN endorsements (minimal points considered)
  • Previous commercial van driving experience is essential
  • Good knowledge of Chesterfield and the surrounding areas
  • Flexible and available for short-notice assignments
  • Reliable, punctual and customer-focused
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude
