The Role
- As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for completing local and regional deliveries while providing excellent customer service and ensuring goods arrive safely and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving a company van to complete local and regional deliveries
- Loading and unloading goods where required
- Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks
- Ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently and on time
- Completing delivery paperwork accurately
- Following all road traffic regulations and client procedures
- Representing both Thorn Baker and our clients professionally
What We’re Looking For
- Full UK driving licence
- No DD, DR or IN endorsements (minimal points considered)
- Previous commercial van driving experience is essential
- Good knowledge of Chesterfield and the surrounding areas
- Flexible and available for short-notice assignments
- Reliable, punctual and customer-focused
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
