This role is ideal for candidates with experience in metal cutting, manufacturing, or machine operation who are looking for long-term, stable employment. Key Responsibilities Operate horizontal bandsaw machinery to cut metal materials to precise specifications Set up, adjust, and monitor saws in line with technical drawings and cutting lists Process a range of metals and alloys accurately and efficiently Perform quality checks using measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, gauges) Follow strict health & safety procedures and wear PPE at all times Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment Work as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines Pay & Benefits £13.27 per hour (rising to £13.84 after probation) Overtime rates: Time and a half (weekdays & Saturdays) Double time (Sundays &
