Bench Hand Joiner Temporary to Permanent Sutton-in-Ashfield £14 per hour + 50p hourly attendance bonus Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 2:30pm Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Bench Hand Joiner to join a leading bespoke joinery manufacturer based in Sutton-in-Ashfield. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Bench Hand Joiner looking for a long-term role with the opportunity to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period. Duties of the Bench Hand Joiner: Manufacturing bespoke joinery products from technical drawings Building and assembling doors, frames, windows, wall panels and other timber structures Working with MDF, hardwoods, laminates, veneered boards and sheet materials Using hand tools, power tools and workshop machinery safely and effectively Measuring, cutting, fitting and finishing components to a high standard Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet customer specifications Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment Working as part of a skilled joinery team to meet production deadlines Requirements: Previous experience as a Bench Hand Joiner, Joiner, Cabinet Maker or Woodworker Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Experience producing bespoke joinery, shop fitting, windows, doors or timber structures Confident using hand tools and power tools Excellent attention to detail and workmanship Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team Benefits: Temporary to permanent opportunity Consistent Monday to Friday working hours Early finish every day Weekly pay whilst temporary Permanent employment opportunity with a well-established manufacturer Immediate starts available If you are an experienced Bench Hand Joiner looking for a long-term opportunity in Sutton-in-Ashfield, apply today with your up-to-date CV.
