Machine Operator – Chesterfield £13.89 per hour | 4 On 4 Off | Days & Nights Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Machine Operator to join a busy, modern manufacturing business based in the Chesterfield area. This is a long-term opportunity for someone with previous automated production or manufacturing experience, confident operating machinery, carrying out changeovers and identifying mechanical faults. The Role: • Operating and monitoring automated production and assembly machinery • Setting up machines and carrying out changeovers and adjustments • Monitoring production output and maintaining quality standards • Carrying out basic mechanical fault finding and first-line maintenance • Identifying product defects and reporting issues • Completing production paperwork and maintaining a clean, safe working area Hours & Pay: • £13.89 per hour • 4 on 4 off continental shift pattern • 2 x 12-hour days (6am – 6pm) • 2 x 12-hour nights (6pm – 6am) • 4 days off What We're Looking For: • Minimum 2 years' automated machine operating experience • Minimum 2 years' manufacturing or production experience • Experience with machine setups, changeovers and fault finding • Good understanding of quality control and health & safety • Reliable, flexible and hardworking • Full UK driving licence and own transport essential If you're an experienced Machine Operator looking for a long-term manufacturing opportunity, apply today!
