The Role
To provide commercial and contractual support across construction projects, helping ensure they are procured, monitored and delivered to achieve budget, programme and quality targets. You will assist the commercial team with measurement, valuation, reporting and contract administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with project teams to place sub-contract trade orders and maintain accurate contractual records.
- Assist in preparing and reviewing the Project Execution Plan (PEP), cost value reports and cost forecasts.
- Support timely preparation and submission of valuations, notices and payment applications in line with the Construction Act.
- Carry out physical re-measurement of works on site to monitor delivered value and manage cost control.
- Help minimise non-recoverable costs and support the final account preparation and settlement.
- Produce clear contractual correspondence and ensure documentation is maintained to company standards.
- Identify potential contractual disputes and escalate to the commercial lead as required.
- Perform additional duties as reasonably required to support commercial and project outcomes.
