Thorn Baker are working with a Somerset based contractor who are looking for a Highways Maintenance Manager on a permanent basis. This position will be responsible for leading the delivery of our clients highway and cyclical maintenance contract which covers Somerset.
What we are looking for:
- Degree or equivalent in relevant discipline, IOSH
- Strong understanding of highways statutory duties
- Experience working with local authorities
- Ability to work within budgets and timeframes
- Reactive highway maintenance experience
- IT literate
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the maintenance contract, ensuring works are completed on time and within budgets
