We’re currently recruiting for a Cleaning Supervisor to oversee the cleaning operation within a retail store in Telford.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Cleaning Supervisor or Cleaning Team Leader who is looking for a permanent, part-time position with consistent hours, a supportive management team and the responsibility of maintaining high cleaning standards within a busy retail environment.
You’ll be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day cleaning operation, supporting the cleaning team and ensuring the store is presented to a high standard ready for trading each day.

Your Role
As Cleaning Supervisor, you’ll play an important role in the day-to-day running of the cleaning operation, ensuring the store is maintained to a consistently high standard.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising the daily cleaning operation within the store
- Leading, motivating and supporting the cleaning team
- Ensuring all areas are cleaned to the required standard
- Carrying out regular quality checks and inspections
- Managing staff attendance and ensuring adequate cover
- Supporting the training and development of new starters
- Monitoring cleaning standards and addressing any issues quickly
- Managing cleaning stock and ordering consumables where required
- Ensuring Health & Safety procedures are followed
- Building positive working relationships with store management
- Taking ownership of the overall presentation and cleanliness of the store
Working Hours
- 25 hours per week
- 5 days per week
- Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
- 5:00am – 10:00am
You'll enjoy a consistent early morning working pattern, leaving the rest of your day free.
About You
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work and is confident overseeing a cleaning team.
You’ll ideally have:
- Previous experience as a Cleaning Supervisor, Cleaning Team Leader or similar
- Experience managing or supervising cleaning teams
- Strong people-management and leadership skills
- High standards with excellent attention to detail
- Good organisational and communication skills
- A proactive, hands‑on approach
- A good understanding of Health & Safety and cleaning best practices
- The confidence to take ownership of a site and deal with day-to-day operational issues
