Thorn Baker Construction require an experienced Carpenter to work on a listed barn in Streatley, Berkshire. Parking available on site and you must have a valid CSCS card.
The Role:
- Repair and conserve original oak beams, rafters and trusses wherever possible, retaining historic fabric
- Source and fit replacement oak timbers to match the existing structure, using traditional carpentry techniques and joints where appropriate
- Carry out repairs sensitively, ensuring the work respects the barn's historic character and listed status
About You:
- CSCS card required
- Must have experience working on older and listed buildings
- Two relevant references
