We are seeking dedicated and skilled Plastic Extrusion Operators to join our client's team in Nottingham. The primary responsibility of the Plastic Extrusion Operator will be to operate plastic extrusion and conversion equipment, specifically focusing on polythene lines. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest quality of output while adhering to all safety and production guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor plastic extrusion and conversion equipment to ensure efficient and high-quality production.
- Set up and adjust machine settings to meet specific production requirements.
- Conduct regular quality checks on the output to maintain product consistency and adherence to specifications.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and perform routine maintenance on equipment as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Communicate effectively with the production team to ensure smooth workflow and timely production schedules.
Required Skills & Experience:
- A proven track record of operating plastic extrusion or conversion equipment, with a strong understanding of polythene lines (ESSENTIAL).
