Job Description – Painter & Decorator
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Painter & Decorator to join our team on a 2-month contract. The role involves working on a variety of commercial l projects, ensuring high-quality finishes throughout.
Job Title: Painter & Decorator
Pay Rate: £19.50 per hour
Duration: 2 months
Hours: 07:30am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
Start Date: ASAP

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Preparing walls, ceilings, woodwork, and other surfaces for painting or wallpapering (filling, sanding, priming, etc.)
Applying coats of paint, varnish, or other finishes to various surfaces to achieve a high-quality, professional finish
Hanging wallpaper and specialist wall coverings as required
Assisting with surface repairs such as patching holes, cracks, or other minor defects
Ensuring all work complies with site health and safety standards
Working on both internal and external surfaces as required
Keeping work areas clean and tidy throughout the project
Liaising with site managers, supervisors, and other trades on-site
Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition
Requirements:
Blue CSCS Card (Skilled Worker) – essential
Proven experience in painting & decorating roles
Full PPE required
Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver a high standard of finish
Good timekeeping and reliability
