We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Associate to support our day-to-day inventory operations at our Nottingham site. This is a fast-paced role ideal for someone with strong Excel skills, inventory management experience, and the ability to work collaboratively across supply chain functions. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate stock records, analysing inventory data, and supporting operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily inventory management tasks, including stock tracking and reconciliation.
  • Update, validate, and maintain inventory records using Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Support data analysis and reporting, identifying trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Create reports and insights using advanced Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel functions, including:
    • Pivot Tables
    • VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
    • INDEX-MATCH
    • Power Query
    • Macros
  • Collaborate with 3PL partners to ensure accurate stock levels and timely shipments.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies between system records and physical stock.
  • Support forecasting and demand planning activities to help maintain optimal inventory levels.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Strong proficiency in English (written and verbal).
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, Power Query, and Macros.
  • Previous experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 for inventory management.
  • Good understanding of inventory, supply chain, stock reconciliation, and fulfilment processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
