M&E Manager – Healthcare Project
Location:Dorset
Contract Type: Freelance until End of 2025

We are currently seeking an experienced M&E Manager to support a key healthcare project in Dorset. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing project delivery team and play a critical role in ensuring the successful coordination, installation, and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all M&E activities on site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and programme timelines.

Work closely with the wider Project Management & Leadership (PML) team to integrate M&E delivery into the broader project scope.

Liaise effectively with the client and their representatives, maintaining strong working relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

Manage and coordinate M&E subcontractors, ensuring smooth on-site delivery and adherence to safety and compliance standards.

Lead and document QA processes for M&E installation.

Drive the commissioning process, ensuring systems are fully tested and operational to specification.

Monitor and manage M&E costs in collaboration with the commercial team.

Requirements:

Strong background in both mechanical and electrical systems management.

Previous experience delivering M&E packages on healthcare or similarly complex, regulated environments.

Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders.

Knowledge of NEC contracts and commercial awareness is highly desirable.

A collaborative, proactive approach and a keen eye for detail and quality.
