The Customer Service & Showroom Manager is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience across all customer touch points while ensuring the smooth day operation of the company's DC showroom.
Working closely with the sales, warehouse and operations teams, the successful candidate will ensure customers receive a professional, efficient and consistent service from enquiry through to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, resolving enquiries and complaints effectively and in a timely manner .
- Oversee customer orders, quotations and after timely delivery.
T sales support, ensuring accuracy and his role must be intimate with all dept processes returns etc- order processing, returns etc.
- Supervise, coach and develop the customer service team, promoting a customer-focused culture.
- Work closely with sales, to understand customer profiles and needs and identify growth opportunities.
- Work closely with warehouse and operations teams to ensure seamless order fulfilment.
- Monitor customer service performance and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support sales growth through excellent customer engagement, product knowledge and showroom merchandising .
- Manage the day-to-day operation and presentation of the showroom, creating an exceptional customer experience.
- Maintain accurate customer records and prepare customer service reports and KPIs.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and quality standards.
Experience Essential
- Previous experience managing a customer service team.
- Experience working within distribution, wholesale, retail or a similar customer-focused environment.
- Experience handling customer complaints and service improvements.
- Experience managing customer orders and administration.
- Experience using CRM and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
- Commercial awareness with a solutions-focused mindset.
Desirable
- Experience managing a showroom or retail environment.
- Knowledge of ERP or order processing systems.
- Experience within interiors, home improvement, building products or a distribution business.
