Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are working with a food production company and are looking for a Hygienist with immediate starts available!
You’ll be a key part of the hygiene and production team, helping to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, food safety, and product preparation across the site.
Your duties will include:
- Working in a chilled, refrigerated environment
- Deep cleaning of production areas, equipment, and machinery
- Following strict hygiene and health & safety protocols
- Using cleaning chemicals and industrial cleaning tools
- Completing cleaning records and relevant documentation
- Supporting the hygiene supervisor to meet daily targets
- Assisting with food preparation tasks as required
- Using basic knife skills to trim, portion, or prepare ingredients under supervision
- Ensuring safe handling of food products during cleaning and preparation

About you:
- Comfortable working in a cold environment
- Confident using cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Strong attention to detail and takes pride in maintaining high standards
- Previous hygiene or cleaning experience in a food production or factory setting is highly desirable
- Enjoys working as part of a team and following procedures
