£15.00 per hour | Monday–Friday | Temp to Perm Opportunity
Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are looking for an experienced MIG Welder to join a busy metal fabrication workshop in Dronfield.
This is a great opportunity for a skilled welder with experience working with carbon steel who can read engineering drawings and take pride in producing quality work. The role is offered on a temp-to-perm basis, with the potential to discuss an increased hourly rate for the right candidate.
The Job:
- MIG welding carbon steel components and fabrications.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Producing accurate, high-quality welds to the required specifications.
- Ensuring work is completed to a good standard.
- Maintaining a safe, tidy and organised working environment.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in MIG welding is essential.
- Experience working with carbon steel.
- Able to read and work from engineering drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work independently.
Pay & Hours:
- Pay rate: £15.00 per hour, with potential to negotiate an increase for the right candidate.
- Monday–Thursday: 7:30am–4:00pm.
- Friday: 7:30am–3:00pm.
- Contract: Temporary to permanent opportunity.
