Counterbalance & Combilift Driver
Location: Rotherham (S66)
Pay: £14.00 - £16.00 per hour DOE
Hours: Monday - Thursday, 7.15am - 5.00pm

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance and Combilift Driver to join a busy manufacturing and production environment based in Rotherham (S66).
This is a hands-on role for an experienced FLT operator who is confident operating both Counterbalance and Combilift trucks and is happy to support the wider manufacturing and production team when required.
The Role
- Safely operating Counterbalance and Combilift FLTs within a busy manufacturing environment
- Loading and unloading materials, products and deliveries
- Moving raw materials, stock and finished goods around the site
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
- Ensuring materials are stored correctly and safely
- Supporting the warehouse and production areas with material movements
- Assisting with manufacturing and production duties when required
- Following production processes, work instructions and Health & Safety procedures
- Carrying out basic checks and maintaining a safe working environment
- Working to quality, productivity and safety standards
- Keeping work areas clean, tidy and organised
- Working as part of a wider manufacturing team while also being able to work independently
What We're Looking For
- Valid, in-date Counterbalance FLT licence – essential
- Valid, in-date Combilift licence – essential
- Previous experience operating both Counterbalance and Combilift trucks
- Recent experience within a warehouse, manufacturing, production or industrial environment
- Confident moving materials safely around a busy site
- Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Good attention to detail
- Able to follow instructions and work to deadlines
- Flexible and willing to help across manufacturing and production when required
- Comfortable working as part of a team and independently
- Positive attitude and willingness to get involved with different areas of the business
You must hold an independent, in-date licence for both Counterbalance and Combilift to be considered for this position.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced FLT Driver, Forklift Driver, Counterbalance Driver, Combilift Driver or FLT Operative looking for a permanent Monday-to-Thursday working pattern within a busy manufacturing environment.
