My client, a well-established precision engineering firm based in Nottingham, is looking for an experienced CNC Machinist (Milling – Setter/Operator) to join their growing team. This full-time, permanent position offers long-term prospects in a clean and modern facility supplying high-precision components to multiple sectors.
Pay is £14 – £16hr depending on experience. 39 hours per week + overtime.
Working hours include: Monday to Thursday: 7am to 12:30pm & 1pm to 4pm. Friday: 7am to 12pm. Overtime is optional, though ideally looking for someone who is happy to support when needed during busy periods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting and operating CNC milling machines
- Working from detailed engineering drawings
- Maintaining quality and consistency of production output
- Contributing to continuous improvement and team goals
Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a CNC machining environment
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience with HAAS/FANUC systems (preferred but not essential)
- Committed to high standards of quality and safety
The role includes 25 days’ holiday plus 8 statutory days, along with a medical and well-being care package.
