Thorn Baker are working with a Facilities Management company to recruit for a Cleaning Site Manager in the Bristol Area for a prestigious client.

This will be a full-time role working 40 hours per week across a 5 out of 7 working patterns (including evenings and weekends) where flexibility is vital to be successful within this role.

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £40,000 to £45,000 per annum.

Role Responsibilities

  1. Deliver in accordance with the FM strategy, site service charter and service level agreement to monitor key elements of the FM service.
  2. Manage onsite FM projects specific as agreed with the Project Team.
  3. Provide a key interface between on-site client and the contracted service providers on a day-to-day basis.
  4. Monitor and report service level agreements and key performance indicators internal and external.
  5. Monitor supply partners service delivery and customer interface on a day-to-day basis.
  6. Financial tracking and reporting to ensure all services are delivered within agreed budgets and service levels.
  7. Provide continuous improvement review and development of initiatives to improve or rationalise hard services to achieve optimum performance and full customer engagement.
  8. Own and manage departmental audits, statutory compliance plans to achieve and maintain legal status.
  9. Manage all employee relations issues in accordance with company HR policies and in consultation with an HR representative, recognising and valuing diversity in all cases.
  10. Train and induct all colleagues in their role, the standards expected and company policies, procedures and guidelines.
  11. Ensure all colleagues are trained in, and adhere to relevant Health, Safety and COSHH policies and procedures.
  12. Respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise.
  13. Maintain and develop customer relationships.
  14. Overcome obstacles to achieve customer expectations.
  15. Improve performance by setting and reviewing standards.
  16. Coach others to ensure they meet their objectives.
  17. Address performance issues quickly and constructively.
  18. Work effectively across different regions and departments.
  19. Share best practice throughout the whole team.
